On Thursday, the Thunderbolts and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Bes announced a pair of transactions, led by the signing of forward Mark Zhukov.

Zhukov recently began his professional hockey career with the Wichita Thunder, playing in two games before joining the Thunderbolts, following four seasons of college hockey with Curry College, scoring 26 goals and 76 points in 74 games between 2019-2023.  Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Zhukov has been playing hockey in North America since 2014, playing at The Hill Academy Prep School just outside of Toronto between 2014-2017, as well as in Boston, Massachusetts with the Junior Bandits of the National Collegiate Development Conference of the USPHL.

In additional transaction news, forward Frankie Trazzera has been placed on waivers.
